International Students-How to Apply?

The International Students Cell will provide necessary guidance for admission. All correspondence relating to international students admission should be addressed to the Office of Principal, International Student Relations of the Institution.

Eligibility

For Undergraduate Courses (BCA, BBA, B.Com, BA)

Pass certificate / Diploma of a Secondary Stage Level Examination (TWELVE Years) of any discipline, recognized by the national level board /council of any country

General Certificate of Education (GCE) / International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) / General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) Certification with passes in a minimum of TWO subjects at 'O' level & TWO subjects at 'A' level

Certificates of the Qualifying Examination (please refer eligibility section)

Approved letter from Embassy of India

Two sets of photocopies of Student Passport

Four Passport Size Photos

Visa

All Foreign Nationals intending to study at Williams International College need to have a valid student visa, tourist visa is not sufficient. A student visa is a multiple entry visa which is valid for the period of study as approved by the college

Government of India Scholarships for International Students

The Government of India offers scholarships for international students every year who wish to pursue their studies in India. The information on scholarships is available on Indian Missions Abroad

General Cultural Scholarship Scheme (GCSS)

Scholarships are awarded to students from Asia, Africa, and Latin America for pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in Indian universities.

Scholarships for African Students

The Indian government is offering scholarships for students from African countries to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate and higher courses in India. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) implements this scheme on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs.

The Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme

The Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme are provided for students from Bangladesh, Canada, Guyana, Maldives, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and other research courses in Indian Universities in general courses (except medicine and dentistry).

Scholarship Schemes for Bangladesh Students

The Ministry of External Affairs is offering scholarships to students from Bangladesh to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorial programs

100 scholarships under ICCR programs (Bangladesh Scholarship Scheme, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D including Engineering Courses)

100 scholarships under agency work India Scholarship (Bangladesh) Scheme to pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D./Post Doctoral (excluding Engineering) Courses.

Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students

Ministry of External Affairs and ICCR is offering scholarships to students from Sri Lanka,

  1. Nehru Memorial Scholarship Scheme (ICCR) 60 Slots
  2. Nehru Memorial Scholarship Scheme (MEA) 60 Slots (only for Undergraduate Courses including Engineering).

SAARC Scholarship Scheme

Under this Scholarship Scheme, 14 scholarships offered annually: Two each to SAARC Member Countries to pursue Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. courses on behalf of SAARC Division of Ministry of External Affairs.
