Today’s globally competitive environment requires resilient individuals who are dynamic in approach, humble in attitude, proactive in thought, and committed to their purpose. Since its inception, Williams International College has endeavored to inculcate a vital metric in each student, rooted in the four pillars of education - Knowledge, Skills, Values and Attitude, gearing towards a holistic transformation.
The cell usually starts placement activity for the students from 5th semester onwards. The placement drive starts both by the college and by the company through email, telephonic conversation and face to face HR/placement officer interaction. After confirming the Date and Venue, the placement officer informs all the final year students about the Date and Venue, 10 to 15 days before the placement drive starts. The college also co-ordinates off-campus events which are conducted in other colleges of Bangalore.
All Final Year Undergraduate Students and Second Year Post Graduate Students are eligible to apply to be part of the Placement Process. A fulltime Placement Officer assisted by her/his team and student coordinator works in tandem with the faculty to help our students to develop their productivity and employability.

Methodology

Campus Recruitment Training:

We believe in the holistic development of our students and therefore adopt an integrated approach to get our students job-ready. The training is led by industry experts who help bridge the gap between the Campus and the Corporate. Aptitude Development, Leadership & Entrepreneurial Skills, Problem-solving, Communication, and Presentations are some of the areas we focus on in our training.

Career Coaching:

The career counseling has become more relevant than ever before. One-on-one mentoring, group sessions, career guidance seminars are some of the activities that Williams International college undertakes to help students make the right career choice.

Hands-on-experience:

The Placement Cell of Our College strive to provide the students a hands-on exposure through industry-interaction, live projects and internship programs to prepare students for the real-world.

Placement & Training Association:

The Placement Cell handpicks motivated students to form the Placement & Training Association. The objective of this Association is to help identify the training needs of students, coordinate with the companies and help manage the placement drives. The association members also help in the seamless communication of Placement activities across all Departments.

Measures taken by the college:

The Communication skills programme held in the V / VI Semester focuses on teaching students of all courses. Students are taught the fundamentals of spoken English and the syllabus is also designed that all the four areas of language learning- reading, writing, listening and speaking are addressed. The final skill trains students to listen and speak in neutral accent. Group discussions are a part of the syllabus
