SPORTS ACTIVITIES

The department of Physical Education at Williams International College is a hub of sports activities. Various sports activities are taken up across the year. Every academic year begins with team selections for individual sports as per the interest of the students like Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Throw Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabadi etc.Indoor games like chess, Table Tennis, carrom Board etc. The college have good athletics team. The College takes all effort to ensure that the students are exposed to sports and cultural activities. We organize and encourage our students to take part in college and inter-college competitions and provide special support for state level and national level competitions. And also sports are seen as an integral part of education, at Williams International College we encourage both sports and sportsmanship. Over the years, the College is proud to have produced state level sportsmen and women.

Sports

Sports helps student to develop mental and physical toughness and supports shaping their body and make it active and strong. The student should actively participate in sports to avoid being tired and lethargy. Taking part in sports reduce the stress and enhance their self-confidence and lower the risk of getting Obese. At Williams, we have highly qualified Physical Education Teacher who encourage all the student to take part in various field of sports according to their interest then make the team and represent the team accordingly in all kind of sports conducted by National, state, District, Taluk and inter college wide. He will be responsible for personal skill development and sports minded Student to become a sports man.
